I am a retired professional who is a passionate gardener with an enthusiastic interest in photography. I am a prolific rose propagator with an all-encompassing curiosity in new plants, especially how to grow and photograph them. I have been a member of the Gibsons Garden Club for many years, which has allowed me to meet other dedicated gardeners with similar interests. I am also a member of the Vancouver Rose Society, further indulging my preoccupation with roses. My rose collection now numbers over 150 distinct varieties.
Recently, I undertook a trip to New Zealand to meet my newest grand-daughter. This allowed me the opportunity to explore and chronicle gardens with exotic and even surprisingly familiar flora on the other side of the world. Join me in a Kiwi tour of many flowers and, of course, lots of roses.
