Joni Krats is a horticultural consultant and pruning specialist based on the Sunshine Coast. She studied at the UBC Botanical Garden, completing a practicum there and at Nitobe Japanese Garden. She trained in the Master Pruner program at the University of Washington, and received the Cass Turnbull Memorial scholarship from Plant Amnesty, where she also volunteers.
She is currently developing her portfolio to challenge the Certified Aesthetic Pruner designation.
