Jennifer Lipka’s passion for bumble bees and gardening shines in her workshops. She shares her knowledge about organic gardening, seeds, and bees from her experiences at Kwantlen’s School of Horticulture, West Coast Seeds, and having a community garden for 10+ yeas. She is a PhD student in the Plant-Insect Ecology and Evolution lab at the University of British Columbia where her research focuses on bumble bees in blueberry agricultural systems. She is keen to grow her own knowledge about the relationships between plants and pollinators in her garden and beyond, and how they are affected by climate and land-use change. She is looking forward to sharing about 'Bumble bees & pollinator friendly practices' with your group!
