Catherine Dale holds a journeywoman certificate in Landscape Horticulture (Red Seal designation) and has spent 45 years ‘out in the field’ learning every day. She was chef instructor for Burnaby Schools Horticulture programs from 1999 to 2019 training up thousands of students to work in the landscaping industry.
Also, she’s a certified Organic Landscape Professional and taught Gaia College’s Organic Master Gardener course for 10 years and ran Metro Vancouver/GVRD’s Compost Demonstration Garden where her interest in composting and love of worms and soil critters grew alongside the flourishing garden.
